Dan Gilligan was a New Jersey high school baseball legend. He was selected to Passiac County’s All-Decade team (1990s), was a three-time All-State, three time all county, and was named in USA Today as an All-American.

In college, Dan was an All-Region-All American and was among the most sought-after rookies by the independent minor leagues. Dan signed pro with the Allentown Ambassadors of the Northern League and finished his career with the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League.

After his playing career, Dan coached at Felician College and scouted for the Cleveland Indians before taking on his current position as President of the Pro Player Academy in Hawthorne, NJ — a subsidiary of Akadema Professional.
